For one young Pittsburgh couple, love has looked a little different than they ever imagined. Nearly two years ago, they met, soon after became engaged, and began dreaming about their future together. Their journey of planning a wedding, building a home, and beginning the next chapter of their lives had just begun....
What is an Angel Wedding?
What is an ‘Angel wedding’, one might ask? Created by our founder, Dawn Takacs, the ‘Angel Wedding Program’ helps families facing uncertain or life-threatening health issues plan their wedding ceremony or experience in a shorter time frame. The Pittsburgh Brides Community joins forces to donate goods, services, products, and spaces to help these families host some of life’s most precious moments.
The name ‘Angel Wedding’ comes from the goodwill of the volunteers; to us, they are all ‘wedding angels!’
